Wedding at the New York Cafe

Wedding at the New York Cafe Gunjan & Lajos Do you believe in meetings by chance? Well, please continue reading, I assure you the story of these two amazing people will blow your mind! It is truly like in a film – one of the better ones. Coming from maybe two of the most distant corners of the World – Lajos lives in Abu Dhabi, Gunjan in Seattle – the their story started in Sydney, Australia. They stumbled in each other accidentally at the Opera house for taking the must have photo of the iconic building. She briefly informed him about much better location for a better view, and joined for hours exploring the city. By time Gunjan’s phone got discharged and so they could not see each other. For 4 – years! Lajos left the country the next day – and became entangled in the web of social media. They were in touch via messages – on birthdays/ new years / and to check whether they are in the same country but they never were. So we didn’t meet for 4 years because they were busy in their lives building their career. But they felt this was just not okay. Lajos took the first step, traveling to the US to see her. They had an amazing time together – and there and then – something was born. A feeling. A mutual attraction, and a relationship – that would lead them somewhere, for sure. Tremendous thanks to the fantastic celebrant Misi Dunai for his outstanding work, and sharing me the script. Wedding photoshoot at Fisherman’s Bastion

Sunrise portrait session at Fisherman’s Bastion Agnes & Alex’s wedding was more than I ever dreamt about as a wedding photographer. Not only because they got married on my beloved venue Liszkay Winery, but also because we had the couple portraits on a separate day at the Castle Distric in Budapest. Our prime scene was the fabulous Fisherman’s Bastion, in the magical light of the sunrise. We shared a great time with a lot of fun. I miss you guys! Tyrol meets Tuscany – A Gorgeous Wedding at Liszkay Vineyards

Agnes & Alex Tyrol meets Tuscany – A Gorgeous Wedding at Liszkay Vineyards While culling photos for the highlights of Agnes and Alex’s big day, I took a break for a moment wondering what this wedding meant to me. I knew Agi and her family for a long time. When she asked me to shoot her wedding we couldn’t envision the difficulties of planning overshadowed by pandemic. After a year of uncertainty and a series of rescheduling, it was uplifting to see the tuscan cypress lines leading to the mansion. Agnes and Alex live in Vienna. From the very beginning they had a clear vision about how their wedding should be and what it should look like. They wanted to spend their day with family and friends at Liszkay Winery – the most exclusive venue near Balaton. A romantic tuscany nature and happy people are an extraordinary combination that make it easy to really enjoy capturing moments from the beginning till the end. Agnes and Alex gave me their full trust, and this is one of the greatest gifts you can get as a photographer on a wedding day. I can´t describe how freedom makes creativity flow in me. To be honest I’m not into staged bridesmaids shots, I’m looking for real moments throughout the day. However we had so much fun from the initial greets, so all of these scripted sessions turned out to be significant part of the story. With the Balaton Uplands as their background the lovers said their vows to one another. Agnes´s vows left everyone speechless, probably the most touching vows I have had the pleasure to hear. Moments like this fill my life as a photographer. Despite the fact that the portrait shooting was set on the upcoming Monday, I grabbed the their hands to make a few shot in the tuscany vibes. For me, the post-ceremony chill – call it a relief – really makes a difference when it comes to capturing true feelings of two people loving each other. Later the evening, an outdoor party got started. Tears and joy erupted when all of a sudden the bride’s mother and aunt performed a Mamma Mia flashmob. It was nice to see all the guests to resonate with each other, enjoying the party, dancing all night. Cake cutting enabled a short break, during that time I presented the same day slideshow, a 5 minute long screening of the best photos I took that day. The party continued with Austrian traditions, everyone got dressed in Tirolean leather costumes. Agnes & Alex Same Day Slideshow Agnes & Alex separate day portrait session – Fisherman’s Bastion. Natural Wedding at Babérliget

Detti & Gábor Natural Wedding at Babérliget A wedding at Babérliget can be an amazing idea if you want to make it all about nature and love. When I first met with Detti and Gabor I was surprised how well we got along, and immediately felt a friendship. My work resonated with their life and it was clear we had many things in common. (I was absolutley blown away while listening to Detti’s playlist during bridal preparation. No brides ever listen to The Who!) They seemed to love all my personal favorite photos! This always makes me excited because I feel more freedom when I shoot.  “I don’t even know where to start … We have been crying and laughing for the past hour, reliving every moment of our big day. These were heartbreaking, uplifting and terribly happy moments! We have no idea you are doing it, but your heart and soul are in it because all emotion is coming back to us with the elemental power we have experienced! We are more than grateful! You show us who and what we really are, and that is invaluable to us! Thank you really !!! Wedding vibes at Haraszthy Vineyards, Etyek.

The Story of Andi and Tamás – Haraszthy Vineyards

Andi & Tamás A perfect natural wedding day at Haraszthy Vineyards “We’ve been going through the pictures several times. We want to thank you for keeping this day in such a beautiful memory for us, and for delivering the pictures so quick. However, I’d like to share my thoughts beyond my gratitude. I would like to highlight a few things from the service we received from you.I really liked you working so discreetly, unnoticed at the wedding. At first, I thought I must have not been the only one to pay attention to it, but then several of my friends and today my parents said that most of the day they didn’t even notice they were being photographed. Nevertheless, it is absolutely no exaggeration to say that many times while looking at the pictures it feels as if 2-3 photographers had been there. Sensational!I really liked your attitude, it was very kind and professional from start to finish. I am aware that this is also a business. Yet we didn’t feel that way, we didn’t feel like a treadmill, we didn’t feel like being a random couple, one of the many weddings. That’s a great thing. In the end, I left what I like best. Your pictures tell everything, without exception. I can’t find a better word about it. The situation is that there is a lot to learn: what is shutter speed, aperture, and so on, but I think it takes a vision, a sense that is not given to everyone. I want to congratulate you on that.Looking back at the pictures, the wholeness of the captured moments completely recreates the atmosphere of our wedding. It’s great to see so many people having a good time.I consider myself a maximalist in some areas of life. It fills me with happiness when I see someone doing what they are doing by the best of their ability. Honestly, I rarely express my thoughts about something for so long, because one doesn’t stumble into such things every day. “- Tamás Wedding Photographer – Andras Rabloczky Venue – Haraszthy Vineyards Dress – Daalarna couture Floral and decor – Le Jardin Decor & Gruber Andi Wedding Decor Master of ceremony – Kovacs Richard Cinematography – Vago Art Selfie machine – Photofun company Make up – Nagy Rebeka Hairdresser – Steiner ákos DJ – kovács balázs Cake –Édességlabor

The Wedding that Rocked Walpersdorf

Elke & Andy The Wedding that Rocked Walpersdorf Early August, I was shooting a wedding at the picturesque backdrop of the renaissance castle. This venue is one of Austria´s most beautiful castles named Schloss Walpersdorf located in Lower Austria. What makes this fabulous location perfect for a wedding is the fact that it offers everything: a wonderful garden where the guests enjoyed a delicious drinks and fingerfood, an intimate chapel where the couple got married and a nice ball room for dinner, and party. The couple got ready separately, fortunately both process has been covered. Andy spent the morning in a modern cozy apartman with his bestman, just a ten minute drive from the Castle. Elke and her company had a lot of fun during the make-up. Kicking off a wedding day like this is always a good sign for me.  Elke looked stunning in her dress by Kelly Faetanini, no wonder Andy couldn´t keep his eyes dry. We didn’t set up a first look, the couple met according to the traditions at the chapel. The most memorable part was definitely the ceremony closing song, literally everybody was singing and clapping together, including the couple, family, and guests. Believe me, if I had known the lyrics, I’d join them.  “What a party,” summed it up Elke their wedding what is probably the most romantic day of her life. The dream of a successful summer party with all the people they love, came true all in white. This wedding means a more than a lot to me. The photo depicting an authentic intimate moment between the bride and her grandmother was selected to Insider’s 60 incredible wedding photos in 2020. Daalarna Bride’s Evening Ceremony at Haraszthy Vineyards

Zsófi & Dávid Daalarna Bride’s Evening Ceremony at Haraszthy Vineyards Since the pandemic, wedding planning is all about making sure guests feel comfortable enough to show up in person for the ceremony, even if government gives green light to hold such an event. Zsófi and Dávid were one of the couples who insisted on getting married in front of the people they love. The venue was the Haraszthy Vineyard, which finally showed its sunny side weeks after my gloomy wedding there in June. I really liked the idea of an unusual timeline. While afternoon ceremonies are most common, the couple hosted an evening ceremony, followed by congratulations and party. The guests were arriving at late afternoon. Welcoming at such a manner has provided a comfortable experience, a perfect way to create an initial connection point between them. It was followed by the dinner with a specal guest, a popular singer filled the venue with some hits in the background. With all stomach full, it was time for the ceremony outside under the stars. Outdoor celebrations allow fully customised wedding decor, the eye catching moon and barrel installation was really one of a kind. An Award Winning Destination Wedding in Budapest

Nina & Attila An Award Winning German – Hungarian Destination Wedding in Budapest. “This wedding is special for me.” Said Andi the wedding planner while discussing the upcoming German-Hungarian international wedding. I met Nina and Attila first at the engagement session that took place at Budapest downtown. A few hours of fun made me clear that our journey – what couldn’t be washed away by the storm of the summer -is nothing but special for me either. Attila works as a doctor in Germany. He met with Nina at the hospital they work. After months of dating, engagement came, and began planning the wedding. Attila already knew Andi the wedding planner, she recommended me as a photographer who put much emphasis on capturing every single moment during wedding day. I later submitted  they series of 20 images at an international documentary wedding photo contest. won a Story Award at This is Reportage. I had such a wonderful time working with Nina and Attila on their wedding day. They were laid back and chill throughout the day, and the atmosphere was just fantastic from start to finish.
