Pedro Cabrera Workshop 2017 “To photograph is more than technique, it’s a mental state.” That was the tagline of this 3 days workshop took place in Cluj’s Museum of Photography. Pedro and Andrea two of the most electrifiing wedding photographers just won the Photohrapher os the Year. I learned a lot especially the technical and emotional aspects for catching those important, unrepeatable moments with style.
Nigerian pre-wedding party in Budapest
Nigerian pre-wedding party in Budapest I had the opportunity to shoot a Nigerian pre-wedding ceremony and party in Ádám Villa, Budapest. In Nigeria, weddings are much more than the celebration of joining the lives of two people. It is more about two entire families join together as one by full of bright colours, tribal esque music, and ancient traditions. Nigerian couples often have two weddings, with a cultural wedding followed by a religious ceremony that is often more western in nature. These ceremonies are held days apart. They exchange gifts with one another and the bride’s family will present the potential groom with a list for what he will need to give to the family in order for them to accept an engagement. Elena’s Christening
Elena’s christening A christening, or baptism ceremony has a close connection with weddings. Both are important family events, one of the most important milestones celebrating life and love. It’s a rare occasion to bring your family and friends together, whether you choose a small intimate ceremony or a bigger event including a celebratory party. Baby girl Elena’s christening ceremony took place in one of the iconic landmarks in Budapest, the largest church in the city. My approach is literally identical with shooting weddings, telling a story through moments, getting close when necessary, and of course I’m there to help organizing group pictures.
